Making a donation is easy

We’ve made it easy to make donations. Whether it's via the ‘Donate Button’ on the website or the donation of any gifts, all are a great help to us and are very much appreciated by everyone at The Gingerbread Centre.

However, due to covid we’re not accepting second hand donations for the foreseeable future, only brand new ones. Our urgent needs are non-perishable food and new hygiene products including tooth and hair brushes but not clothes. Keep an eye on our Facebook Page for specific appeals.

You can also make a cash donation by sending a cheque (made payable to "Stoke-on-Trent & District Gingerbread Centre Ltd") to:

Rothesay Court
Furnace Rd
Stoke-on-Trent
ST3 4LY

We happily receive gifts of new toys, gifts and items for the families and teenagers that we support. At Christmas the children and teenagers are all provided with at least three or four gifts from your generous donations.

When families move in, if they have not been able to bring all of their possessions with them, or they are having difficulty, a welcome pack full of useful household or personal items and a gift for the children helps them out and gives them a boost.

If we are aware of a special event, such as a child or teenagers birthday we use the donations we receive to celebrate the event.

At Easter we have many kind donations of Easter eggs and we ensure they are distributed evenly to the children, teenagers and families.

There are times when we get gifts that we find difficult to decide which family or child should receive them, such as very high value gifts or special gifts. When this happens, we sometimes make the decision to use the gift to support our fundraising.

Boost your donation by 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you donate
