Evening & Weekend Support Practitioner

Catherine Court


Description:

To encourage independence whilst providing background support and support with routines, life-skills attainment and admissions to the accommodation.  You will have responsibility for liaising with the Family Practitioners to arrange support sessions, for example; sexual health and keeping safe.  Your main work will be based at Rothesay Court, but you may be required to work at our other accommodation site.

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable, although the successful candidate can expect to have regular training via courses and workshops to further personal development, with a view to advancement within the organisation.

Salary: £17,885.31 per annum -
£12,084.67 pro rata

Hours of Work:
25 hours per week on a rota system.
It will include evenings 5-11pm and a weekend day every fortnight 9:00am-10:00pm.
Cover will be needed for sickness and holidays.

Senior Family Practitioner (Maternity Cover)

Description:
This post is to provide Maternity Leave Cover until May 2021 or to the date of return from Maternity Leave, whichever is sooner.

As a member of the Management Team, the Senior Family Practitioner will have a specific responsibility for managing our supported accommodation provision in the absence of the service manager.  You will support and liaise with the service manager in the day to day operation of the supported accommodation provision.

Your main work will be based at Catherine Court, but you may be required to work at other Gingerbread premises.

The successful applicant will have; knowledge and understanding of homelessness issues, an accurate level of record-keeping, excellent literacy and numeracy skills, sound knowledge of child care practices and safeguarding, and must be computer literate.

Salary: £22,036.34 per annum

Hours of Work:
37 Hours, Monday to Friday.

1 week Emergency On Call / Out of Hours Duty on a 4 week rolling rota.

Fundraiser

Rothesay Court


Description:
The successful applicant will be our sole Fundraiser, raising funds and promoting The Gingerbread Centre to the people and businesses in our local area, to gain corporate and community donors.

Funding is needed to help us continue our valuable work providing support to homeless and vulnerable families, teenage parents and pregnant women in Stoke on Trent and the surrounding area.

The ideal candidate will have experience and achievements in community fundraising, organising events, and developing relationships with local companies and corporate sponsors.

Salary: £22,164.48 - £24,492.52 per annum - depending on experience.

Hours of Work:
37 hours per week with flexibility, as evening and weekends will be required.
