Night Support Worker

Catherine Court


Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Night Support Worker to join our highly committed team.

You will provide a warm, friendly and responsive overnight service.

The main duties are:

  • Reception cover
  • Health and safety checks of the building
  • Security of the building & monitoring of visitors
  • Offering practical support to families
  • Responding to emergencies and referring to other agencies where necessary
  • Management of maintenance issues

NVQ Level 2 in Security or Health and Social Care is desirable, although successful candidates can expect to have regular training via courses and workshops to further personal development, with a view to advancement within the organisation.

Salary: £16,411.72 per annum -
£11,532.56 pro rata

Hours of Work:
Average of 26-hours per week. 9:30pm - 9:30am via a shift rota.  Includes weekends and bank holidays.  The number of shifts per week average two or three, although cover will be required for holidays and sickness.

Volunteer Coordinator

Description:

Looking for a new challenge and want to make a difference?  Join our team of staff at The Gingerbread Centre as a Volunteer Coordinator.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to coordinate and support the volunteer helpers within The Gingerbread Centre.

We are looking for someone who has the experience and understanding of the challenges for Volunteers.

A current full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

The successful candidate can expect to have regular training via courses and workshops to further personal development, with a view to advancement within the organisation, if it arises.

Salary: £18,548.90 per annum -
£12,031.72 pro rata

Hours of Work:
24-hours per week.
12 months fixed-term contract.

Maintenance Worker / Housekeeper

Catherine Court


Description:

An opportunity has arisen as the Maintenance Worker / Housekeeper* at our Catherine Court supported accommodation. You will be responsible for the general maintenance, decorating, gardening and Health & Safety at Catherine Court, and at Rothesay Court when required.

You will need to be adaptable, with the ability to work in a busy environment. Some manual handling is involved in this role.

You will ensure that flats are cleaned and fully equipped for new residents, and be responsible for the cleaning of offices and communal areas.

A current full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is desirable.

Salary: £16,904.07 per annum

*Please note that the vacancy of Maintenance Worker / Housekeeper is one position.

Hours of Work:
37-hours per week, Monday to Friday
