Night Support Worker

Catherine Court


Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Night Support Worker to join our highly committed team.

You will provide a warm, friendly and responsive overnight service.

The main duties are:

  • Reception cover
  • Health and safety checks of the building
  • Security of the building & monitoring of visitors
  • Offering practical support to families
  • Responding to emergencies and referring to other agencies where necessary
  • Management of maintenance issues

NVQ Level 2 in Security or Health and Social Care is desirable, although successful candidates can expect to have regular training via courses and workshops to further personal development, with a view to advancement within the organisation.

Salary: £16,411.72 per annum -
£11,532.56 pro rata

Hours of Work:
Average of 26 hours per week. 9:30pm - 9:30am via a shift rota.  Includes weekends and bank holidays.  The number of shifts per week average two or three, although cover will be required for holidays and sickness.

Play Assistant

Rothesay Court


Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Play Team at Rothesay Court, providing fun and meaningful activities for the families to promote positive parent-child relationships for their children's development.

An NVQ Level 2/3 in Play Work, Child Care or equivalent is essential.  The successful candidate can expert to have regular training via courses and workshops to further personal development, with a view to advancement within the organisation.

Funded by Children in Need until the end of May 2021.

Salary: FTE: £18489.45 per annum - Actual £ 9994.30

Hours of Work:
Average of 20 hours a week, day, evening and weekend hours.

Evening & Weekend Support Worker

Catherine Court


Description:

To encourage independence whilst providing background support and support with routines, life-skills attainment and admissions to the accommodation.

You will have responsibility for liaising with Project Workers to arrange support sessions, for example; sexual health and keeping safe.  Your main work will be based at Catherine Court, but you may be required to work at our other accommodation site.

NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable, although the successful candidate can expect to have regular training via courses and workshops to further personal development, with a view to advancement within the organisation.

Salary: £16,904.07 per annum -
£13,157.76 pro rata

Hours of Work:
28 hours per week on a rota system.
It will include evenings 5:00-11:00pm and weekend dayshifts every fortnight 9:00am-10:00pm.
Cover will be needed for sickness and holidays.

Volunteer Coordinator

Rothesay Court


Description:

Looking for a new challenge and want to make a difference?  Join our team of staff at The Gingerbread Centre as a Volunteer Coordinator.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to coordinate and support the volunteer helpers within The Gingerbread Centre.

We are looking for someone who has the experience and understanding of the challenges for Volunteers.

A current full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.

The successful candidate can expect to have regular training via courses and workshops to further personal development, with a view to advancement within the organisation, if it arises.

Salary: £18,548.90 per annum -
£12,031.72 pro rata

Hours of Work:
24 hours per week on a rota system.
12 months Fixed Term Contract.
