If the answer is yes are you able to fill one of the following roles?

  • Vice Chair, previous Trustee experience would be an advantage, this role would involve working closely with the Chair of Trustees and Chief Executive Officer ensuring that the Charity remains on a pathway to success
  • Bring expertise in business development and entrepreneurial skills preferably with housing and social care sector knowledge, this role would involve helping the Gingerbread Centre navigate its way in realising its ambitions to grow and diversify
  • Bring experience of homelessness, or in-depth knowledge of the local community and the challenges faced, this role would assist the Trustee Board in ensuring it addresses the needs of the community it serves

What else do you need to know?

This is an unpaid role, however we pay out-of-pocket expenses.
Our Board meetings are currently held every three months on a weekday evening – at the moment these are happening online.

We ask our Trustees to participate in one of our sub committees

Papers are sent out in advance, so you’d need to allow time to read them so that you could participate fully at the meetings.
Before becoming a Trustee, you would need to confirm your eligibility by completing an Eligibility Form.
