Welcome Kim Woodburn

Exciting times at the Gingerbread Centre.

Queen of Clean

Kim Woodburn, How clean is your house?

There are exciting things are happening at The Gingerbread Centre.  In the run up to Christmas a number of events and projects will be taking place.  All events will be aimed at raising as much money as possible.

We still have a few tickets left for our Charity event “An Evening with Kim Woodburn”. The Evening will be hosted by our very own fundraiser Paul Deakin.  To avoid disappointment we suggest that you get your tickets now.  The event will take place at THE QUARTER in Hanley, Stoke on Trent.  So come along on 16th November 2018 at 7.30pm.  Please contact Paul Deakin at paul.deakin@gingerbreadcentre.co.uk

Kim will be talking openly about her brutal childhood, her raise to fame and How Clean is your house.

Paul says “This is the first interview of this type.  I have know Kim for some years and even I wasn’t expecting her to agree to talk about some things.  I know that Kim is very interested in people seeing the real her.  This is a night not to be missed.

Dionne Brookes

We are also pleased to announce that Dionne Brookes will be providing musical entertainment at the event on the 16th.   Dionne sings songs from Motown and soul to current chart music.  Get your dancing shoes on and come along to what is guaranteed to be an unforgettable evening.

Little Duckling Soaps

Lisa Grand of Little Duckling Soap.

Its never too early to plan for Christmas and if you are stuck for something to buy a loved one during the festive period, fear not.  The Gingerbread Centre is currently developing its very own range of Gingerbread Soaps with local company Little Duckling Soaps.

Little Duckling Soaps have agreed to a partnership which will see the creation of Mr and Mrs soaps at Christmas time.  There will be 8 soaps in the range by next year including valentines day, summer time and  Halloween.  A special limited edition soap which will be designed by a pupil from a local school will also be developed.

Sarah from Little Duckling Soaps says “The Gingerbread centre is actually very close to my heart. A friend of mine needed help recently and the Gingerbread Centre offered her support.  She didn’t need it in the end.  I know that you guys were one of only a few organisations to which she could turn.  If we can work together to drive both Little Duckling Soaps and the Gingerbread Centre towards a success then let’s do it.”
