For Some People, This Could Be The Last Christmas They Spend In Their Current Home. Message On A Bauble, Our Christmas Appeal. Make Friday 11th December Special!

Christmas this year could be very different if we can’t see family and friends and socialise as normal. On top of that, imagine you’ve lost your home, and will be spending Christmas who knows where. This Christmas could be the last that some families spend where they currently call home.

The Gingerbread Centre keeps homeless families together by providing suitable, temporary accommodation and support. There are 41 children with us who will spend Christmas with their family. So, at The Gingerbread Centre, families will be together this Christmas, hopefully making it that little bit better.

We want to help you send Christmas greetings to work colleagues, friends or family members. Just use our “Message on a Bauble” Christmas fundraiser.

If you’re still going into work or go to school, you can download our poster of blank baubles, put it on the wall and write your messages on the baubles.  There are two sizes of posters to choose from:

Small blank baubles poster (A4)

Large blank baubles poster (A3)

Event poster

If you are working from home, download our single bauble and write your message and send a selfie to your friends and colleagues.

Make Friday December 11th that special day! To make a donation, either text BAUBLES 2 to 70085 to donate £2 (change the 2 to a different amount if you wish) or simply collect cash donations and pass them to us.

Texts cost £2 (or the amount donated) plus one standard rate message and you’ll be opting in to hear more about our work and fundraising via telephone and SMS. If you’d like to give £2 but do not wish to receive marketing communications, text BAUBLESNOINFO 2 to 70085.

If you would like to spread the joy further afield by adding a bauble to our virtual tree and make a donation to The Gingerbread Centre click HERE

All in all, let’s help each other have a very merry Christmas!

With thanks and best wishes from The Gingerbread Centre
